M. Nevada Ackerman’s Art Showcased at Lolo Boutique July 6, 2012

July 2, 2012 in Downtown Fullerton Art Walk

Although the Fourth of July weekend is a busy one for many of us, we hope you’ll have time to stop by Lolo Boutique in the Villa del Sol on Friday night, July 6, 2012 from 6 – 10 pm for the Downtown Fullerton Artwalk.

We are excited to be showcasing the original paintings, giclees and notecards by M. Nevada Ackerman.  Mary has studied with several well-known artists both locally and in Hawaii.  Some of them include Helen Reed, John Koser, Neil Matsuyama and Dawn Lundquist.

Mary continues to be delighted, refreshed and uplifted by the beauty she finds in nature all around her.  She celebrates that joy in her paintings and hope that this life work is also pleasing to others.
The above painting “Red Faced Tulip” is from a photo taken by Mary of one of the thousands of tulips grown by a resident right here in town.  All of Mary’s paintings are based on her own photos and therefore all have a special story.  Come in to Lolo Boutique on 7/6/2012 and maybe you can hear some of the stories from Mary herself as you view her work.

Light refreshments will be served.
