Secret City Comics Society Presents Local Artist Brittni Plavala

April 29, 2013 in Downtown Fullerton Art Walk

Brittni PlavalaStop by the lobby of Secret City Comics Society and meet local artist Brittni Plavala. Then stop by at 8:00 for OC’s Best Improv Comedy.

Brittni’s creative process is prompted out of urgency to express and be heard. Her works are filled with a world of vibrancy, seeking to instill the viewer with an experience completely subjective and moving, onwards and upwards towards exploration. For Brittni, creative works are about the process, the catharsis; to achieve inner peace and adoration of the results is always secondary. Ultimately, beauty is discovered with patience through the errors and honoring each step of construction. She is deeply inspired by Mother Earth’s creative energy, poetry, movement, the eye’s innate ability of perception, and life’s trial and errors.

Brittni is a local artist, born and raised in Orange County. She is pursuing a future as an Art Brittni PlavalaHistorian and has a profound vision to curate in a gallery or museum. Her main passions in life include: yoga, poetry, golf, singing, painting, reading, writing, and virtually any creative collaboration presented. She is currently a student attending Fullerton College, a volunteer at the Museum of Latin American Art, and a shift supervisor at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Lastly, she contributed to research and write-ups on notables for Fullerton College’s centennial celebration now on exhibit at the Fullerton Museum.

Brittni hopes you allow your mind to wander amok in her journey, and delve deeply into her cerebral landscapes that long to inspire vision and progress on each individual’s path.
