You are cordially invited to the next opening reception at BOOKMACHINE books + zines in the Magoski Arts Colony. It’s a release party for Jesse La Tour‘s latest zine entitled “The Loggerhead and Other Poems.” There will be artwork, zines for sale (real cheap!) and a poetry reading. This event is happening on October 4th, 2013 at BOOKMACHINE during the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk.

The Loggerhead and Other poems is Jesse’s second poetry zine. The first one, “Poetry is for Wimps and Commies: Poems and Other Things No One Cares About” sold out and is now out of print. If you own one of those babies, you are one lucky duck, because Jesse doesn’t even have one.

The zine features poems Jesse has written over the past couple years, which deal with such important topics as: local congressman Ed Royce, sea turtles, Latino Civil Rights, poet Arthur Rimbaud, reading, star constellations, American heroes, gay rights, and much much more!
