future forest dwellers

You are cordially invited to the next art exhibit at BOOKMACHINE books + zines, entitled “Future Forest Dwellers” featuring new works and prints from Scott Lee. The opening reception is Friday, January 3, 2014 from 6-10pm during the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk. As always, this event is FREE and open to the public.

Scott Lee received his B.A. in Fine Arts/Illustration from California State University, Fullerton in 2009 with aspirations to become a children’s book illustrator…or something along those lines. Since graduating, he’s done work for major clothing labels, album art, visual development, as well as skate board graphics in both traditional and digital media. He also enjoys showing his paintings in galleries.

Scott has lived in Southern California for most of his life. This is where his love for art, nature, and skateboarding developed. His artistic influences include Alphonse Mucha, anime, his grampa, Star Wars, nature, Dr. Seuss, the 1960s, graffiti, Salvador Dali, skateboard graphics, old cartoons, and the list goes on…

Hope to see you there.
