Love Languages at Share & Do Good

April 3, 2014 in Downtown Fullerton Art Walk

lyndsey.jpgThis month’s featured artist at Share & Do Good is Lyndsey Ogawa. A mixed media artist from South Orange County.  She has created a wide array of pieces that convey the theme Love Languages.

Her purpose for the show is to bring awareness to the reality of human trafficking and to help raise funds for groups that are working to bring an end to the horrible situations many in the world have to suffer through daily.  Her hope is to use the show to defy these hateful acts through love and that through this awareness,  impact can happen regarding this issue on a local and global scale and her ultimate hope would be that love would conquer all.

Proceeds from the sale of her pieces will benefit F.A.C.E.S (Freeing American Children from Exploitation and Sexual Slavery) A non-profit organization that is dedicated to the care of young girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking and slavery here in the United States and also Zoe International, a non-profit based in Thailand that seeks to  provide children who’ve been victimized by trafficking true healing and restoration.

We hope you can all come out to see this powerful show!
