Visions from Within @ Carpe Diem Experience Nov. 6th Art Walk
October 20, 2015 in Downtown Fullerton Art Walk
“Art was made to overcome chaos.”
On August 21, 1996, Brandon Hein was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
At the age of 18, Brandon Hein’s life changed forever.
Since then, he has spent over 20 years behind bars (over half his life).
Thrust from a typical suburban childhood into the harsh reality of maximum security prision, Brandon pours his heart, soul and tremendous loss into his artwork.
Brandon’s family and friends have never given up their fight to win his freedom. His story has been covered by Rolling Stone, The Los Angeles Times and 60 Minutes. To learn more about Brandon Hein’s storyplease visit his website at www.BrandonHein.com
His father, Gene Hein will be on hand to showcase Brandon’s work.
