Introducing…Kale Ybarra, exhibiting at Lolo Boutique for the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk on Friday, September 2, 2016

August 20, 2016 in Downtown Fullerton Art Walk

Kale Ybarra is a local photographer.  He started photography in 2010 as a hobby while taking pictures of cars.  His love for cars started when he was a child. That love continued into high school where Kale was a member of the automotive academy.  Kale’s passion for cars soon led him to car shows where he began to take photos with a small point-and-shoot camera.  Quickly discovering the limitation of a point- and-shoot camera, he moved onto a D-SLR camera.

In his photos, he tries to capture the car’s natural lines in an interesting angle not traditionally viewed.  Kale also enjoys taking nature photos.  He finds trains and railroad tracks to be visually appealing and they have become his main photography subjects.

Kale has been fortunate to have his photography works displayed in four art exhibits in Whittier and Santa Fe Springs.  Of the four exhibits, two were solo exhibits.  Kale looks forward to having his work displayed in many more exhibits and art walks in the future.IMG_9915.jpeg train
